delivers essential training for individuals working in high-risk environments where electrical hazards and medical emergencies may occur. Together, these units equip participants with the confidence and skills to respond effectively to life-threatening situations, ensuring the safety of both themselves and others in the workplace.
Participants will learn how to recognise and respond to cardiac arrest by performing CPR according to current Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines. The training develops vital emergency response skills, including the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and providing immediate life support until professional medical help arrives. In addition, learners will gain the capability to safely perform a rescue from a low voltage electrical panel, a critical competency for those working in the electrical supply industry and other environments where electrical equipment poses a potential risk.
This course set is ideal for electricians, tradespeople, and other workers who may be exposed to live electrical systems, as well as those required by legislation, employers, or industry standards to hold current CPR and LV rescue certification. It is also valuable for workplace first aid officers and safety personnel who need to maintain compliance with Safe Work Australia guidelines and electrical safety regulations.
By completing this nationally recognised training, participants not only meet regulatory and workplace requirements but also contribute to a safer working environment.
Employers benefit by ensuring staff are trained to manage emergencies effectively,
